The outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) resulted in the clinical decision that reduced direct contact is optimal, especially for senior citizens residing nursing homes. A smart pillow adapted Remote Healthcare System presented this paper, whose core a Bluetooth (BT) host equipped with temperature and pressure sensors. measurement Core Body Temperature (CBT) from perspective heat transfer first analyzed, two proven effective methods introduced—classical Zero-Heat-Flux (ZHF) Dual-Heat-Flux (DHF)—then finally similarities between Smart Pillow ZHF are demonstrated. pad inserted inside to detect occupancy specific position head on meets diagnostic needs. Furthermore, real-time proactive monitoring mode enabled urgent warnings, which forces keep detecting reporting data defined time duration but results rapid battery drain pillow. In way, system can CBT in-bed situation inhabitant without being physically present determine critical measurements. Utility be extended elderly people living alone regional or remote areas, such medical help dispatched as soon possible case emergency.
